About Perdiemo
Perdiemo is a small piece of software for the person who runs business travel in a company too small to have a travel manager. The office manager who approves trips, the operations lead who keeps track of who is away, the owner who wrote the policy: it is built for the job they already do in email and spreadsheets, and it keeps the record they cannot find when they need it.
Why this site exists
This site exists because the trips most small companies run live in an email thread that approved something, a card statement that paid for something else, and a calendar invite that says where someone probably is. When a flight is cancelled at nine at night, none of those answers the phone. Perdiemo keeps the request, the approval, the booking and the traveler's whereabouts as one record, and gives away the worksheets that produce it.
Who it is for
The office manager, operations lead or owner who runs business travel for a company of two to a hundred travelers, a few trips a month to a few a week, with nobody whose whole job is travel.
Not a travel agent or someone starting an agency, not a holidaymaker buying a flight or insurance, not a developer building a travel app, and not the finance person paying the expense claim back after the trip. Those are different people with different problems.
What it does not do
- No booking and no payment: Perdiemo keeps the reference and the cost of what you booked elsewhere, and never holds your card or your traveler's
- No expense claims, mileage rates or reimbursement: the claim after the trip is a different product's job, and the allowance figure here is the one you choose for the estimate
- No fare or hotel rate we did not read on the day: the worksheets take your quotes as inputs and publish none of their own
- No travel agency ranking and no commission: nobody pays to be named on this site
What is on this site
7 free tools, each working its figure on the page with no account, and Perdiemo Pro that keeps the record. All tools · Pricing.
- Travel policy: Put in how many people travel, how often, the lead time, the fare and hotel caps, the daily allowance and the approval threshold, and see the two-night ceiling the policy implies, the annual spend at that ceiling and the clauses the document needs.
- Packing checklist for travel: Put in the days away, the client-facing days, the devices, the workouts, the climates the trip crosses and whether it is carry-on only, and see the items on the packing list, the shirts, the outfits, the chargers, the workout kit and the liquids limit.
- Travel request form: Put in the fare quoted, the nights, the hotel rate, the ground transport, the days, the allowance and the travelers, and see the estimated cost the approver signs, the lodging and allowance lines, the cost per day and the bookings the approval releases.
- Travel risk management policy: Put in the destinations the team visits, how many you class as elevated risk, the trips to them, the days, the check-ins a day, the briefing time and the emergency contacts per traveler, and see the register size, the check-ins a year, the briefing hours and the escalation contacts the policy names.
- Business travel cost estimator: Put in the fare, the nights, the hotel rate, the ground transport, the days, the allowance, the incidentals, the travelers and the trips a year, and see the cost per traveler, for everyone going, per day, what share is the fare and lodging, and the annual figure.
- Business trip plan: Put in the flight legs, the nights, the meetings, the ground transfers, the buffer before each departure, the hours per leg and the time zones crossed, and see the entries on the itinerary, the hours in transit, the buffer reserved, the days to adjust and the booking references the plan carries.
- Business trip checklist: Put in the days, the meetings, the flight legs, the hotel stays, the ground transfers, the documents to carry and the lead days, and see the items on the checklist, the confirmations to file, the meeting preparation, what falls on the day before and what waits for the return.
What Perdiemo Pro keeps
Upgrading turns the worksheet into the record. The costed request becomes a trip with an approver's name and a date on it; the itinerary becomes bookings the office can find when a flight is cancelled; the policy becomes the document every request is read against. Nothing is retyped: what the worksheet computed is what the record keeps.
